Recently, Yen Dung Golf Club has cooperated with Vietnam Golf Association and Malaysian golf experts to survey and re-estimate the course & slope rating according to the USGA standard after 6 months of operation. The course & slope rating estimate marks the continuous development of Yen Dung Golf Club in the hearts of golfers at home and abroad.
Just operated in August 2017, the leardership has focused on investing in landscapes, green trees that makes it perfect in the eyes of golfers. Therefore, the course & slope rating (shown on the scorecard) is slightly changed compared to the original design.
In January 2018, Yen Dung Golf Club was officially granted the new Course & Slope rating Certificate according to the USGA with the changed index as follows:
Therefore, from 1st February 2018, the Handicap of Yen Dung Members will be officially calculated based on the new index of USGA standard which has been updated in our e-Handicap system.
A standard golf course has a slope rating of 113 which is also a constant in handicap calculations for golfers playing at golf courses with different difficulty levels.
